About the Role
At Perthyn, we are committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred support that empowers the people we support to live fulfilling lives. As our Senior Quality Assurance and Regulation Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in upholding and enhancing the standards that define our organisation.
This is a hands-on role responsible for ensuring compliance with Health and Social Care Regulations across England and Wales. You will support the development and implementation of robust quality assurance frameworks, conduct audits, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to drive and deliver continuous improvements across all departments.
You’ll be actively involved in visiting homes, engaging with the people we support, and mentoring colleagues to embed a culture of excellence. You will be joining a supportive team of three other team members within the Quality Assurance and Regulation team, who work collaboratively and are committed to improving quality and regulatory compliance across all services.
This role requires flexibility, travel, and a proactive approach to change, innovation, and leadership. You’ll be part of a dedicated team that values integrity, accountability, and resilience and you’ll help ensure that Perthyn continues to deliver safe, effective, and inclusive support.
What You’ll Be Doing
Conduct internal audits and prepare for CIW/CQC inspections
Analyse data and produce high-quality reports
Lead and support strategic quality improvement projects
Mentor and coach staff across departments
Promote best practices and compliance with health and social care standards
Engage with stakeholders and build strong relationships
Travel across regions to support homes and teams
What We Need From You
We’re looking for someone who shares our commitment for quality, inclusion, and continuous improvement. To thrive in this role, you’ll need the following:
Essential Criteria
Level 4/5 Diploma in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
Knowledge and understanding of a quality assurance and compliance role
Experience working within regulatory and legal frameworks
Excellent communication, analytical, and organisational skills
Ability to lead change and work independently
Full UK Driving Licence (required for regional travel)
Desirable Criteria
At least 3 years’ experience in the health and social care sector
Strong understanding of CIW and CQC regulations
Experience working across multiple regions
Experience leading strategic quality initiatives
Involvement of people we support in audits or evaluations
